asked not to undertake any misadventure
MUZAFFARABAD, Oct 22
(NNI): Advisor to the
AJK President, Abdul Hafeez Chaudhry has asked India not to undertake any
misadventure against Pakistan in the current situation. He said if India
commits such a mistake it will get a befitting reply.
Talking to a group of journalists here, he said that India has become
desperate after its failure to malign and isolate Pakistan in the wake of
September 11 terrorist attacks on the United States. He said that Indian
leadership and its secrets agencies have always been involved in making
vicious propaganda against Pakistan.
The Advisor to the AJK President said that so far as the ongoing movement
of the people of Kashmir is concerned, they are struggling under the UN
resolutions to get their right of self-determination. He recalled that
Pakistan had been extending moral, political and diplomatic support to the
people of Kashmir in their just struggle.
He said it would be in the interest of India itself to refrain from
exploiting the current situation. He also asked Indian leadership not to
misconstrue the offer of peace from Pakistani side as its weakness.
Chaudhry Hafeez said that the government has adopted a principled stand
that it opposes terrorism in whatever shape and wherever it is committed
because our religion, Islam, does not allow such acts of terrorism. "There
is no concept of terrorism in Islam as it is a religion of peace and
brotherhood," he added.ŚNNI
