RS. 2BN Released for Sindh's Development

Islamabad, April 23, 2002 The Federal Government has released Rs. 2 billion from the Rs. 10 billion Package announced by President in Sindh’s recent four for various Development Programmes for the Province”. This was said by Mr. Khair Muhammad  Junejo, Federal Minister for Food, Agriculture & Livestock while addressing a big gathering at Kot Ghulam Muhammad in Mirpurkhas today.
            “Now it is our duty”. Said the Minister’ to effectively monitor the use of this money for Development Project. He said that the President accepted the demand of minorities for joint electorates, which the minorities were demanding since decades.
            Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Kishan Chand Perwani, Representative of District’s Minority Community said that this government has accepted all demands of minorities including the “Joint electorate system”.  So Minorities will fully participate in Presidential Referendum.
            On the occasion, former, parliamentarians, Mr. Asif Qazi, Khair Muhammad Bhurghari, Lashman Das, Minorities Councillors supported the Presidential Referendum and asked people to vote in favour of President Pervez Musharraf for the continuity of reforms.
