	Why don't ducks sink When ducks spend hour s grooming their feathers,they arer't being lame ducks. Waterfrofing from all that preening may help a duck stay afloat.Barbules, tiny zipper-like projections , hold air in the feathers.Air sacs inside the ducks body although a duck's body is heaver than water,it rarly has a sinking feeling. 	YOU WILL NEED ¨ small jar ¨ small plastic toy or figurine (must fit inside jar) ¨ silver glitter or white tiny beads, etc ¨ corn syrup (available from health food stores) ¨ strong-hold waterproof glue WHAT TO DO Glue the toy or figurine to the inside of the lid of the jar. This means when the jar is standing right way up, the figure is hanging upside down. Allow the glue to completely dry. Fill the jar with corn syrup, leaving a gap at the top. Add glitter or small beads.Glue the lid to the jar. The lid now forms the base of your snow globe. Shake to makea blizzard!	Can you break an egg with one hand? Why not try it. 	YOU WILL NEED ¨ pita bread, corn tortilla or english muffins ¨ tomato paste ¨ grated cheese ¨ any toppings you like. Try any of these: ham, salami, cooked sausage, olives, capsicum, mushrooms, pineapple. WHAT TO DO If you are using English muffins, break the muffin in two first. Cover the tortilla, pita bread, or the inside of the sliced muffin with tomato paste. Make sure you go as close to the edges as possible. Cover with the topping of your choice and then cover with plenty of cheese. Grill the pizza under the grill until the cheese melts.
