PAKISTANI NAVAL SHIP "NASR" ON GOOD WILL
TRIP TO SAUDI ARABIA ANCHORED AT

| (January 16, 2001) Pakistani Naval Ship "Nasr" anchored at
Dammam Port of Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia yesterday. This ship is on routine goodwill trip to the Kingdom. This ship was built by China and is equipped with latest technology. It has already completed 10 years of successful Service. Mr. Sabahuddin Chohan is captaining this ship. On January 16, 2001, the Captain of the ship has arranged a reception where the Ambassador of Pakistan to Saudi Arabia HE Asad Durani, Lt. General ® was the chief guest.  The Royal
Saudi Naval dignitaries, diplomats of other missions and prominent Pakistanis were also invited at this reception. Group Captain Mr. Hifazatullah Khan Air and Naval Attaché at the Embassy of Pakistan had arrived earlier to receive the naval ship and give final touches to the reception on behalf of Embassy of Pakistan. Earlier in the morning the ship was open for the Saudi and Pakistani families particularly the students of Pakistani Community School Al-Khobar visited the ships where the naval officer of the ship took them to each compartment of ship and answers the questions of students and visitors. The captain Mr. Sabahuddin Chohan told the Middle East Bureau of Millat that this was our routine goodwill visit to Saudi Arabia and similarly Saudi ships also visit Pakistan. He said we always feel proud and happy whenever we visit Saudi Arabia, may be this is due to our cordial brotherly relationships we are tied in, We feel Saudi Arabia as our second home and I am proud to tell you that it is reciprocal we get the same respect from our Saudi brothers, he pointed out the high ranking officers of Royal Saudi Naval Officers present at the reception and cheerfully talking to Pakistanis. He stressed one thing that as individual Pakistani, we are the number ones in the world in whatever field we are, but collectively we have tendency of not tolerating with each other. We have to adopt the nationhood at home and abroad and that is the only solution for our problems. We have to adopt the same thinking and we have to keep Pakistan or mother land on above of everything only those nations |
