- 6 cups
water
- 2 cups powder milk (full cream)
- 150 ml evaporated milk (optional)
-1\2 cup sugar
- 2 pieces white bread, crust
removed,cut into pieces
- 2egg, slightly
beaten
- 100 g. butter
- 11\2 tsp. ground cardamom
- 3 tbsp. chopped pistachio nuts
1. Combine water, powder milk,
evaporated milk, if using, and sugar in a large bowl. Stir to
dissolve sugar and powder milk. Keep aside.
2. Combine bread and eggs in a food processor or blender and
blend to paste.
3. Melt butter in a large heavy based sauce pan, add cardamom
powder and bread paste. Stirring constantly fry mixture over
medium-low heat for about 3-5 minutes.
4. Add milk, stir and cook over medium-high heat until thick,
stirring constantly, about 20-25 minutes. Transfer to a
serving bowl and chill
about 6 hours or overnight. Garnish with nuts
if desire.
Next time you take the hair from
your hairbrush, don’t throw it away; sprinkle it over your
lawn and the birds will pick it up and use it to reinforce
their nests.

As a rough guide,
change your baby's nappy about as often as you feed him. If
your baby is feeding very often, you don't need to change him
every time, as small feeds don't generally warrant a nappy
change. The point of changing your baby's nappy is to
protect his skin, which can become sore if it's allowed to
stay in contact with wee or poo. So if you know your baby has
had a poo, you'll want to change him as soon as you can.
How to change your
baby
- Lie
your baby on his back - on any clean, safe (not high) warm
surface.
- Take off the used nappy
and place out of reach.
- Gently wipe your baby's
nappy area using a baby wipe, or warm water with cloth or
cotton wool.
- Dry the area (not
necessary if you've used a wipe).
- Lift your baby's legs up
and place the clean nappy underneath his bottom. If you are
using a disposable, the edge with the tapes should be at the
top - about level with your baby's waist.
- The absorbent side of the
nappy should go against his skin. If you're using a cloth
nappy the widest part should go under your baby's waist.
- Bring the bottom edge of
the nappy up between your baby's legs.
- To adjust the fit, stick
the tapes on the underneath side to the front of the nappy
or use grips or pins to fasten a cloth nappy.
- You may want to use a
baby barrier cream to help prevent nappy rash.

These come as foldable,
traditional terry towelling squares, which you then pin or
clip to hold them on, or else pre-shaped nappies, which
usually use Velcro so there's no need for folding or pinning.
The pre-shaped ones tend to take longer to dry after washing,
whereas the terry towelling ones unfold and dry quite quickly.
Your baby may need to wear waterproof pants over the nappy to
stop leakage through to his clothes.
The initial outlay can seem expensive (£200) - but this is
considerably less than two-and-a-half years' of £10 per week
(the average cost of disposables). There's also the
environmental impact of disposables (see Related links).
Disposable nappies
There are several brands
constantly being redeveloped, to convince parents that this
year's nappy is even better than last year's in terms of fit
and absorbency. They're convenient, as there's no washing and
drying.
Most parents use disposables, but reusables have their fans.
Reusables are cheaper, even when you factor in the cost of
washing and drying. And they can be used for more than one
baby. But they do take more effort.
Some parents opt for reusables during the day and disposables
at night.

be hopeless and we should work for our country even we are

responsibility to serve the nation. We can boost the image
of country by dealing in good way with other communities and
we can send the money through proper channels that will make
the foreign exchange level high and it will help to make

Identity
Dear friends,
We are fortunate to have been blessed with Pakistan, a country
where we can live freely and practice our religion without any
fear. Freedom is a blessing whose value can be greatly seen
from the pathetic conditions of the oppressed nations.
On 14, August 2005, we are celebrating the of our 59th
Independence day. It is day to thank God for his special
favors and to pray to Him to enable us to serve our country
well, to keep it safe from all evil eyes and to make it a true
Islamic Democratic state as visualized by our forefathers and
great leaders who fought for its freedom.
We, the youth are the builders of Pakistan. It is sad if we
take our national days as a day to doze and relax. Rather,
national days are reminders for us of our commitment to our
country and nation. We must make each national day, worth a
memory. It is not only about going out to see decorated
buildings, riding bikes without silencers, popping crackers
etc. One way to avail these national days, is to allow
ourselves to get more informed about our nation and country,
may it be about its history, or culture or geographical
characteristics. The people of the generation that took
active part in the freedom struggle are fast leaving us
(dying). Those of us who are fortunate to still have the
blessing of this old and wise generation shall not let this
opportunity go unavailed. It would be an exiting idea to throw
a party, invite all your companions and besides fun and play
also hear grandparent tell about their experience of 1947 and
events before and soon afterwards. If an elderly person is
not present then there are few historical movies that portray
some of the events of partition. After watching such movies,
under the aroused spirit of patriotism, we can benefit from
discussions that pop up and can make a resolution how to serve
the country.
Prove that you are a true Pakistani by truly loving and
respecting your country. Work for the success of the country
to show your true patriotism for your homeland and countrymen.
May Allah safeguard our country and enable us to value our
freedom. Ameen!
