Make a soft fluffy omelet
Heat a non-stick pan and add a little more butter than usual. Now beat the egg and stir briskly (even while frying) with a fork. This way more air goes in your omelet, making it light and fluffy. Fry till done and serve hot.

Maintain a normal blood pressure
High blood pressure is defined as a systolic (top number) blood pressure of 140 mmHg or more, or a diastolic (bottom number) blood pressure of 90 mmHg or more. A normal blood pressure is 120/80 mmGh or lower. Some patients with mildly elevated blood pressure can control it with a low-salt diet, high in fruits and vegetables, and low-fat dairy products, (the DASH) diet, exercise and weight loss. The DASH diet also may prevent the development of high blood pressure. Most patients with elevated blood pressure will need medication. The higher your blood pressure, the greater your risk.
One of the major medical advances of the last half-century is the availability of a variety of medications to control blood pressure. In 1945, a month before President Franklin D. Roosevelt's death from a stroke, his blood pressure was 240/180 mmHg. His doctor never told him he had hypertension because he didn't want to worry the President—for there were no medications available to treat high blood pressure at that time. Over the ensuing five decades, as more and more effective antihypertensive medications were developed, the incidence of stroke declined dramatically.
High blood pressure inside the arteries causes "wear and tear" and not only causes stroke, but aneurysms (ballooning out) of the arteries, which can rupture, and kidney failure. Damage to the arteries and the increased heart work that high blood pressure causes, can lead to heart failure.
The incidence of heart failure increases with age and is the most common cause of hospital admission in patients over age 65. The only way you know if your blood pressure is elevated is to measure it, and the only way you can be sure your blood pressure is controlled is to measure it. You can't rely on how you feel—you can feel great and your blood pressure can be severely elevated. That is why high blood pressure is referred to as "the silent killer."

Outlook Express

Contacts R Us in Outlook
Did you know Outlook could use the data from your Contact folders to create a mail merge file and then provide it to Microsoft Word? If you have Word installed, it will automatically start up when you select the Mail Merge option from the Tools menu in Contacts view. Word performs all the actual merge functions. If you don't have Word installed, you will not be able to perform a mail merge unless you export the information to a separate file.

Jumping Around and Creating in Outlook

Outlook aims to be an all-in-one organizer which is a good and worthy goal - but it also means it has lots of facets that you want to get to quickly. There is a keyboard shortcut to let you jump to the Inbox and Outbox in an instant.
Inbox - Ctrl + Shift + I
Outbox - Ctrl + Shift + O Curiously there are no shortcuts for the other major parts of Outlook. Things are a bit better when it comes to quickly creating new items in Outlook. You can open new email messages, notes, appointments etc in a flash with these keystrokes:
Email - Ctrl + N
Note - Ctrl + Shift + N
Appointment Ctrl + Shift + A
Contact - Ctrl + Shift + C There are more and you can see them by choosing File, New and look down the list - there should be a shortcut listed next to each menu item.

What foods are healthy?

No single food will supply all the nutrients your body needs, so good nutrition means eating a variety of foods.
Food is divided into four main groups. They are:
Fruits and vegetables (oranges, apples, bananas, carrots, and spinach).
Whole grains, cereals, and bread (wheat, rice, oats, bran, and barley).
Dairy products (whole or skim milk, cream, and yogurt).
Meats, fish, poultry, eggs, dried beans, and nuts.
It's important to eat foods from each group every day. By doing that, you ensure your body has all the nutrients it needs.
The main nutrients in food are carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins, and minerals. Nutrients help your body work correctly, and make young bodies grow.
Carbohydrates give you energy. Healthy choices are dried beans, peas, and lentils; whole grain breads, cereals, and crackers; and fruits and vegetables. Protein is needed for growth and is a good back-up supply of energy. Healthy choices include lean meats and low-fat dairy products.
Foods high in fiber are healthy, too. Fiber comes from plants and may help to lower blood glucose and blood-fat levels. Foods high in fiber include: bran cereals, cooked beans and peas, whole-grain bread, fruits, and vegetables.

OKARA

Okara City was established in nineteenth Century.  It is located at 127 KM south-west of Lahore on national highway (G.T.Road) and on Lahore Karachi main railway line.  Its approximate height above sea level is 50 meters. While the towns of Okara are a part of ancient history.  According to a tradition there were clumps of “OKAAN” Trees in this place.  After the name of these OKAAN trees this place was known as Okara.  This area of land was raided by European and the middle Asian invaders just because it was situated in the ways of those areas which were rich, advanced and geographically politically, and militarily central cities of the sub continent, It was only because of those brave and freedom fighters who stopped Alexander the Great to advance in this area and he had to go back defeated from this area of land.
The history of this area is 3000 B.C. old.  This area of land remained war land for Turks, Arabs, Persians, Lodhies, Tuglaqs, Mangols, Mughal Emperors, Marathas, Sikhs and Hindus.  This area was also ruled over by Rajputs till 1770.  In 1849, the British occupied this area.  In the Freedom Fight of 1857, the people of this area resisted against the British.  Rai Ahmad Khan Kharil including Mehr Murad Fatiana and many other brave people fought against the British and defeated the British at a number of places.  History speaks of these freedom fighters that were few in number and they put to death Lord Burkley and his fifty soldiers.

When the British Government, after defeating Sikh rulers, ruled this area in 1849.  They established a new district in Pakpattan which was later on Shifted to Gogera, a town near the
Ravi. When a Railway line was laid out between Multan and Lahore it was shifted to Montgornery in 1864. This area remained the part of Montgomery District.  In 1915 Okara became Tehsil.  It became Committee in 1939 and Municipal Committee in 1945.
After the creation of Pakistan, Okara played a vital role for the progress of the country.  Isatghara, Gogera, Sherghar, Hujra, Shah Muqeem and
Renala Khurd are towns of this city.  The Okara district population is about 2.2 Million.

Plants are the lungs of the earth.   In research designed to create a breathable environment for a NASA lunar habitat scientists discovered that indoor house plants are the best filters of common pollutants such as ammonia, formaldehyde, and benzene.   Hundreds of these poisonous chemicals can be released by furniture, carpets, and building material, and then trapped by closed ventilation systems, leading to the host of respiratory and allergic reactions now called Sick Building Syndrome.
Read all about how to take care of indoor plants. Grow them and make your life healthier than before.

CYNOSURE MONTESSORI & SCHOOL
CP Global Content Manager, Iqbal Bhai,  Shares his findings about the School that was featured last year in our “Hum Pakistani” segment
.
During my Eid holidays, I had a chance to visit the school that is operated on non profit basis. Here are briefly my findings to share with rest of the community.
As I had few days spare after Eid during my holidays, I dropped an e-mail to Obaid Bhai and arranged a visit to the school. Mr. Syed Murtaza Ahmad Ali of the school management at the set time and date picked me up. All management and the school staff gave a very warm welcome when I reached at the school.  It was a very friendly atmosphere and I visited all the classes and met and talked to all kids. The children are so well behaved that I was much impressed.
I also met Wing Cmdr (R) Qazi Sahib and talking to him was a pleasure. He explained to me about the present situation of schooling in Karachi. Further he stated that while Obaid bhai is sharing cost to operate the school by donating a good amount of money every month to make sure that the standard of education and facilities is not compromised, inshaAllah this year if we have enough students, the school will be operating using its own earnings. The building rented at present will be good enough for few years to come and in the meantime the management has plan to acquire the land and construct their own building. What I noticed was that the staff was very qualified and well trained and at the same time all required material to run a Montessori was available. It was a pleasure to see the future of Pakistan being so nicely trained at this institution. We had a good discussion about the future plans of the school with the management and as usual I forgot to take my camera. I was missing it so badly that I have to go once again to the school when I go to Karachi next month.  I must share the success story of Obaid bhai with rest of us so we could take benefit of his experience on running an educational institution on a “Community Driven School” concept which perfectly aligns with CP’s concept of “Community Driven Community”. I wish and pray that the noble mission of Obaid Bahi to flourish and he will see the results of it in his lifetime, Amen.
In the end I would like to thank brothers Obaid, Qazi and Murtaza for treating me so well and sharing with me their plans for the school. My best wishes are for all of them.
