Their has been a debate in my family for
sometime about inheritance. I am a married person with 2
daughters. Are there any one else beside my wife and two
daughters have any share or ratio in my inheritance. Please
advise
A CP member.
The law of
inheritance depends on the sect you belong to. In the absence
of a son, the male brothers can inherit residuary portion if
you are Sunni.

Pepper Steak |
-1
kg undercut pieces of steak - ½ tea spoon of
mustard powder
-1 table spoon Worcester sauce
-½ tea spoon garlic paste
-2 table spoon crushed black pepper
-1 tea spoon salt
-1 table spoon corn flour
-1 table spoon oil
-1 table spoon butter
Apply all above ingredients except
crushed pepper and corn flour to the steak pieces and marinade
for five-six hours. Sprinkle crushed pepper on each piece and
press inside with rolling pin. Then dip the steak pieces in
flour, shaking off any surplus. Place on sizzling hot skillet
with just enough melted butter to keep meat from sticking. Fry
both sides until browned. Remove to a hot platter and serve
hot with garlic bread, fried and tossed green salad.

Avoid milk from spilling
Milk will not spill while boiling if one applies glycerin to
the rim of the vessel.

Wish to Lose some
Extra Weight? |
Water Works for Weight Loss
Nothing
quells the appetite like water, lots and lots of water.
Start out with two quart bottles in the morning and carry
one with you to work or wherever you go. If you like, divvy
up the 64 ounces of water into eight (8-ounce) bottles or
four pint (16-ounce) bottles to carry around with you all
day. Freeze half of them the night before and they will last
all day, even in a hot car. Keep some unfrozen so they will
be ready to drink immediately.
Yes. You will have to make more frequent bathroom trips, but
it is worth it. Drink your 64 ounces of water before dinner,
if possible, so you're not up half the night going to the
bathroom.
Water not only fills you up and lessens your appetite, it
prevents those "hungry horrors" we all encounter when our
blood sugar drops and we reach for cookies, candy, ice
cream, fries or other high-calorie treats. Water also
flushes out the system, rids the body of bloat and toxins
and rosies up the complexion.
Now, start splashing.

Now Heart Attack
can be predicted
New Test for Predicting Heart Disease: If you're over 40 and
have any family history of heart disease, take heart! A new
speedy scan warns patients of cardiac problems before they
have a heart attack. This test could save your life. Most
heart attacks are the first and last warning a person gets.
The newly devised test is the electron beam tomography (EBT)
that takes 3D pictures that point out calcium in coronary
arteries, a known predictor of heart disease. The test is not
offered everywhere yet so if you qualify, ask your doctor
where it's available.

Cleaning Kitchen Exhaust Fan
Remove your greasy exhaust fan with the metal frame,
un-assemble the fan blade and any other part that is easily
removable. Put all the parts in bathroom tub and spray lots of
oven cleaner spray on it. Leave it for 20-30 minutes, change
the sides of all the parts and spray the oven cleaner spray
again and leave for another 20-30 minutes. Wash with warm
water afterwards.
Note: Make sure the area is well ventilated before spraying
the oven cleaner due to dangerous fumes, use gloves, dry the
exhaust fan before putting it back, spray very little WD-40 or
a drop of machine oil in the motor. Credit Talha from

Dividing
moment
This is the moment that divides the past from the future. And
this is the moment that you control. It's a powerful place to
be. What you do right now will determine what you carry from
your past into your future.
You can choose to hold on to all the good, empowering things
such as your knowledge, your positive relationships, your
wisdom and experience. And you can choose to move beyond those
things that have held you back, such as negative habits and
low expectations. If you've dragged yourself down, if you've
held yourself back, now is your opportunity to begin moving
yourself forward. Now is the time when you can put all your
past experience, whatever it has been, to positive and
productive use.
The past does not equal the future, and right now is the
moment that proves it. Right now is a doorway through which
you can carry those things that will bring a brighter future.
See this moment for all it is, and live it fully for all you
can be.

SECURITY ONLINE |
|
We've
had viruses and hackers to contend with for years. More
recently we've had spyware, adware and Trojans. And, of
course, we've always had spam. Now there are two new
threats - phishing and spoofing.
Phishing is the name given to the practice of luring you
to a fake website in order to obtain your PIN's,
passwords, and credit card details.
Spoofing exploits (yet another) loophole in Internet
Explorer so a fake site displays an authentic-looking
web address.
So you receive an email purporting to come from
someone like PayPal (I've had two of these myself
lately), Visa or American Express. This will have the
appropriate logo and official-sounding wording, web
address and contact details.
The message typically says your account needs updating
in some way and asks you to click on a link to take you
to the company's website. When you click the link you
arrive on what looks like the proper website with the
address displayed in your address bar.
And guess what? You'll be asked to re-enter all your
account details.
You will actually be on the thief's website that has
been made to look like the real thing, even to the
extent of having only that part of the web address that
relates to the real website displayed. The rest of the
address, leading to the thief's website, is concealed.
One way of defeating this type of activity is always to
have your email settings set to read all your messages
in plain text. In Outlook Express, go to Tools > Options
and click the Read tab. Check "Read all messages in
plain text".
This will cause the full URL to be displayed to you and
you will see that it is a fake site.
If you don't want to have to read your messages in plain
text just because of the activities of these fraudsters,
be very careful when at any site which requies your PIN,
password or credit card number.
If you receive an email address like this then don't
click on the link, but type the web address into your
address bar yourself. If the message was genuine
you'll see confirmation at the site.

Islamic
Mother's Day
One day a man
came to see the Prophet Muhammad. It seemed that he was trying
to solve something but couldn’t quite work it out. So he asked
the Prophet. ''Tell me, O Prophet!'' I have many relatives and
many friends whom I love, and whom I wish to care for and
help. But I often find it difficult to decide which of them
has the greatest claim upon me? Which of them should come
first?'' The Prophet replied immediately, ''Your mother should
come first and before all others.''
The man was very pleased to have this clear guidance from the
Prophet. But of course there were all his other relatives and
his friends, so he asked ''and after my mother, who has the
greatest claim upon me?'' The Prophet’s reply this second time
surprised him. ''Your mother!'' he said again. The man
wondered why the Prophet was repeating himself. Perhaps he had
not spoken clearly, the man thought, so he asked the question
again, ''What I want to know is, after my mother, who has the
greatest claim upon me? Again the Prophet said ''your
mother!''
Your mother, your mother, your mother!
The Prophet had now said it three times. Slowly, the man
realized why he had done so. ''The Prophet means that my
mother is extremely important, so much so that my duty to her
must be stressed over and over again. Even so, the man’s
thoughts ran on, ''what about all the others I love and wish
to care for?'' Still uncertain and wanting to know more, he
once again turned to the Prophet and said, ''and after my
mother, who comes after her? Is there anyone besides her?''
The Prophet then replied ''after your mother, your father.''
''And then?'' asked the man. ''Then people who are nearest to
you,'' said the Prophet. Allah’s peace and blessings be upon
the Prophet.

REIKI -
Natural Healing
Reiki is both powerful and
gentle. In its long history of use, it has aided in healing
virtually every known illness and injury including serious
problems like: multiple sclerosis, heart disease and cancer as
well as skin problems, cuts, bruises, broken bones, headache,
colds, flu, sore throat, sunburn, fatigue, insomnia,
impotence, poor memory, lack of confidence etc. It is always
beneficial and works to improve the effectiveness of all other
types of therapy (credit: iiieye.tripod.com).
In this edition, we are evaluating the Sixth Energy Center of
the body, which is located in the center of the forehead. This
is our “mind center”. It covers our brain, neurological
system, ears, eyes, nose, pituitary and pineal glands. When
there is an energy blockage in any of these organs, the result
is any of the dis-eases ranging from brain tumors, strokes,
brain hemorrhage, blindness, deafness, seizures, learning
disabilities, spinal dysfunctions, panic, depression etc.
Treating this area with Reiki would open a person to recognize
and expand his mental capabilities, intuitive power (the sixth
sense), the ability to learn from experiences, to come out of
small mindedness and to separate reality from fantasy.

About Staying Happy
Assalam-O-Alikum,
Assalam-O-Alikum. Dear ones, how are you all? Intermediate
students who are still having papers, we wish them luck as
they sit for their exams & those of you who are waiting for
results, we wish may Allah bless you with success.
Today, I will talk about staying happy and making people
around you happy.
World today is full of miseries and problems. People are too
much thinking of their woes and their worries. This put stress
on them leading to depression and anxiety problems. All these
wear our health down. Our Health and our body are very
precious gifts of Our Creator. We have to take care of them.
Staying happy and having positive emotions is vital for a
healthy body. Researches going around the world show that
positive emotions could be beneficial to health, probably
because of the hormonal triggers they make.
The concern then is how to stay happy? Happiness is not
something that has to come to us from outside. It is inside
us. We have to feel it and bring it out. It is very much
related to our emotions and attitudes. It is often seen that
people with positive emotions complain less even when ill,
while others with negative emotions get anxious and unhappy at
small, petty things. We have to learn to count our blessings.
As the hadith by the Prophet (peace be upon him) says that
look at the people below you so that you thank Allah for what
you have been blessed with. If you look at those above you,
you are likely to be unthankful to your Sustainer for His
blessings.
Worries are of various kinds…some related to past, others to
present while some about future. I read a quote that always
sticks to my mind. It went like this: “Yesterday had gone and
there's not much I can do about it. So why worry. Today is
here and I have to profit from this small piece of present.
Tomorrow isn't here yet so why worry about that. If we have
had blows in past we do not need to dwell on them. It is vital
to resolve the past, learn from the experiences, grow and
start living the present. The past has flown away. You cannot
undo it now. Past being inherently unchangeable deserves
little concern. Future is non-existent yet. So avail your
present. Do what you can, with what you have, here- where you
are.
Another reason for worry is money. These days, people think of
money as everything. Those who are poor are worried about how
to earn and those who are rich are worried about how to keep
their money growing and safe. In my analysis, being detached
from materialist concerns is a healthy, realistic attitude and
should help make you happy. Trust God. It does not mean that
you leave everything and sit idle. No... It means maintain a
balance. Put in your level best efforts and leave the rest to
God. He knows much more than we do ...and will give us what He
finds best for us.
Another reason that makes us unhappy is when we feel hurt. If
we expect less, we are likely to be hurt less. And this will
help keep our happiness intact. Emotional blocks like hurts,
pain, and disappointments drain our emotional energy and have
a blow on our present life. The bitter feelings influence our
thinking and behavior and that eventually leave marks on our
quality of life.
Make yourself and your environment happy. Eventually people
around you will be cheerful. Avoid watching violent things.
Read and watch happy stuff. Have surroundings with everything
in it is smiling. It is seen that in offices with a well-lit
and happy atmosphere, employees are able to give better
output. Learn to stay happy and stay fit. And never forget to
thank Allah for all His Blessings that we know of and that of
which we are ignorant.
