Chana Dal Gosht
Split black chick pea and lamb


- 500g Buhna Gosht
- 350gm split black chick peas (Chana Dal)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. chili powder (to taste)
- 1 tsp. garam masala
- 2 tbs. fresh chopped corriander
- 2 green chillis chopped

1. Wash dal in few changes of watr until water run clear then leave to soak in cold water for about 35 minutues. Drain Dal and keep aside.
2. In hot bhuna gosht add dal, salt, chili powder. Mix well and pour enough water to cover dal by one inch. Cover with tight fitted lid, reduce heat. Cook for 30 minutes or dal is tender and about one cup of water is left.
3. Add garam masala, corriander leave and green chilies.
7. Serve with Nan, Roti or plain boiled rice.
