Liver With Green Masala


- 1\2 kg. liver
- 1 inch piece ginger, coarsely chopped

- 6 garlic cloves
- 2 medium onions
- 8-10 green chilies
- 1 bunch coriander leaves
- 1 tsp. garam Masala powder - 1\4 cup ghee or oil
-  salt to taste

1. Wash the liver and cut into 1 inch pieces and put it in a strainer to remove excess water.
2. Heat oil in a karahi or frying pan and fry onions until light brown.
3. Meanwhile grind the ginger, garlic, green chili and hara dhania in a food processor or blender. Add this to onions and fry the onion mixture for about 5 minutes.
4. Add salt, liver and garam masala and fry for few minutes over medium heat. Cover and cook for 5 minutes over low heat.
5. Serve with Nan, or Roti .
