A magnificient "Kabaddi" Match was played at Al-Khobar Kornich where more than two thousands spectators watch this bout. As a matter of fact this has become tradition and regular feature in the Eastern Province. During last few months there have been three Kabaddi matches and lots of people have shown their willingness and interst to sponser this event which is a healthy sign. It is really a nice to hear the special words phrazes like , mar kenchi, pa jhapha, taroul mar soo, jan nan dain soo etc. These are the common words of Punjabi language spoken and uttered by the spectators standing and sitting outside the ring. Believe you me you enjoy more Kabaddi match with such slogans. Any way this match was Organized by Mohammad Siddiqu Gujar of Pir Mahal. The match was played between two teams "Gujran-Sialko Vs Gujar Khan" The match was won by Gujrat-Sialkot by 11 points. Gujran secured 25 points whereas Gojar Khan 14 points only. Tariq Faisalabadi was the match referee. Shabbir captained the Gujrat-Sialkot team and Riaz Butt lead the Gojar Khan team. On behalf of the winning team Shabbir Captain was presented a cup and 1000 Saudi Riyals by Tahir of See Rock food restaurants at Kornich. The runner up cup was presented to Riaz Butt by Shahid of See Rock (Sukhar Al-Baher) restaurants. Man of the mach awards were also presented to Shabbir by Ch. Mohammad Siddique and Moulvi Mohammad Younus of Pakistan Sweet House. The management committe of this match consisted of Zain Abid, ch.Bashir,Malik Mumaz,Master Azam, ch. Tahir,Nawaz, Tariq Gujar,Rana Iftikhar,Shaukat, Rafiq Gujar,Akram, Haji Younas Gojarawi. |
