RIYADH, Nov. 7 – KFSH RC I in top Division I and the Vinnel squad in
Division II, defeated their respective rivals Diplomatic and Cordoba in their weekly
league matches to continue their march forward in the Fall Season 2000 Nike Riyadh Team
Tennis League (RTTL).
The Diplomatic line up even with Badr Mogaiyel could not avoid defeat as KFSH RC beat them
by 47-41. Mogaiyel won his clash over Joey Samia 8-7 but in the crucial doubles, L.
Skepper-D. Ege down R. Tufenkeji-F. Ogaick to clinch the match for the eventual winners.
For the race of the title in Division II, Vinnel collected important points when they
recorded an easy victory over Cordoba by 52-33. They won all the important matches. C.
Balint-E. Cabanes beat J. Kornacki-K. Lehoang 8-6. L. Malinao-M. Yapsangco breezed past R.
Chau-L. Blahuta 8-7.
