Hakbani Insurance Hospital Draws Level with Akmich in Nike RTTS Sprint Tennis League By Parwaiz Imam |
RIYADH,
Saudi Arabia, April 17, 2001 – In one of the impressive finish in the weekly round of
Division 4 last week, the tie between Hakbani Insurance Hospital and AKMICH ended in a
draw at 43-43 all in the ongoing Nike Riyadh Team Tennis League (RTTL) 2001 Spring Season
League.  Of the thrilling action, the victors
lost the opening singles when Facal went down to Nismal 7-8. However, they came back to
grab the important single and a double match to level the score. Here Naval beat Cabug
8-6. In the doubles, Doloriel-Manuel defeated Cuaresma-Soncalon also with an identical
margin. In the other match of the same Division, KAMC Al Makateb 1 set aside Electrolink by 51-37 score. The former won all the three important matches in the later stage to end on a winning note in a comfortable manner. Angeles won over Marinas 8-6 and Cayetano breezed past Tutanes 8-7. The tandem of Zupires-Alimpuangon overcame Sahibbil-A. Robles 8-6. Division 2: Cordoba Compound beat Arab National Bank 45-38 (Kornacki bt Talatala 8-6, J. Maihle-A. Maihle lost to Pineda-Agustin 5-8, Garrett-Chau bt Estaris-Ardenio 8-6). Division 3: Security Forces Hospital beat Most Tennis 46-44 (Aquilita lost to Samain 7-8, Camara lost to Silvederio 6-8, Honrado-Pancho bt Sta Ana-Sivederio 8-5, Honrado-Basilio bt Sta Ana-Baltazar 8-4). King Fahad OR beat Security Forces Hospital 49-45 (Koglberger bt Aquilita 8-7, Cepe lost to Evangelista 6-8, Coronia-Bagasala bt Camara-Flauta 8-7). Security Forces Hospital beat Kingdom City 44-35 (Aquilita lost to Pistecky 5-8, Camara bt Algert 8-4, Honrado-Basilio bt Mcfadyet-Snyders 8-5). Most Tennis beat Kingdom City 50-31 (Samain bt Pistecky 8-4, Silvederio bt Algert 8-4, Sabello-Baltazar bt Graff-Snyders 8-5). Division 5: Pannesma beat Cyber 2001 49-32 (Abiera bt Gonzales 8-6, Joson lost to De Castro 7-8, Syfu-Carido lost to Siongo-Alegre 7-8).
