Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, May 15, 2001 – In the race for the Division 1 championship, Vinnel Arabia I defeated King Fahad Hospital I (KFH) while on the other side in Division IV, Electrolink beat the second line up of Vinnel Arabia II to advance further in their respective divisions in the Nike Riyadh Team Tennis League (RTTL) 2001 Spring Season League.
In the top flight, the Vinnel first line up down KFH I by 51-31. In some of the major results, the victors only lost in one of the doubles. Their De Leon-Rodriguez lost to Dela Rosa-Yapsangco 3-8. Of the singles, Othman Enezi beat Edwin Ignacio 8-3. In the remaining double matches, Al Rasheed-Schawsmidth set aside Cabanes-Carilio 8-4 and Ebreo-Costumbrado won over Socur-Yapyangco 8-5.

In the lone battle for the Division IV title, Electrolink recorded a facile victory over Vinnel Arabia II by 51-35. Marinas overcame Bacud 8-4. However, their first double pair, Manlapig-Sahibbil lost to Bacud-Cruz 7-8 but won the second one when Manlapig-Fernandez set aside Daunda-Villa 8-6.
